Using the platform
SmartStart Dairy is provided for education, training, learner support, and related program administration. Use the platform only for lawful activities connected to those purposes and follow instructions from the organization or coordinator responsible for your course.
Your account
Provide accurate account information, protect your password, and do not share access to your account. Notify your coordinator if you believe another person has accessed it. Activity completed through an account may be treated as activity performed by that account holder.
Respectful participation
Do not harass other participants, impersonate another person, disrupt the service, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious material, or publish private information without permission. Course discussions and peer reviews should remain constructive and relevant to learning.
Course work and uploaded material
Submit work you are authorized to share and credit outside material when required. You retain responsibility for your submissions. You allow authorized trainers and platform administrators to store, display, and review them as needed to deliver the course, including configured peer review activities.
Progress and certificates
Course completion and certificate eligibility depend on the requirements configured for that course, which may include required lessons, post-tests, practical tasks, trainer review, and other completion rules. A certificate may be corrected or withdrawn if it was issued from inaccurate records or misuse of the platform.
Availability and changes
The platform may be updated, maintained, or temporarily unavailable. Supported content may be downloaded for offline learning, but actions requiring authentication, submission, review, or synchronization need a network connection. Course owners may update learning content and requirements as their programs evolve.
